What Web Sites Does This Policy Apply To?
The privacy policy applies to QuEST Forum's global Web sites, questforum.org and tl9000.org. It does not apply to Web sites of any QuEST Forum member, TL 9000 registrant, or affiliate. It does not apply to Web sites operated by organizations or groups who associate themselves in any way with QuEST Forum. It does not apply to any other Internet Web sites including those that have hypertext links to the QuEST Forum Web site.
Collection of Non-Personal Data
If you browse QuEST Forum's Web site, you do so anonymously. We do not collect personal information such your email address. We do log your IP address (the Internet address of your computer) to tell us which areas of our Web site you visit and how long you spend there. We do not link your IP address to anything personally identifiable. We track from what country you are accessing the Internet, and what time and day you visited. Your browser automatically provides us with the type of computer and operating system you are using. In addition, this site uses registration forms for customers to enroll in courses, conferences, and/or certification exams. The information you share may be used to provide you with information from QuEST Forum about news services or activities that may be of interest to you. QuEST Forum will not sell your email address with other organizations. We occasionally hire other companies to provide limited services on our behalf, including electronic newsletter delivery and event registration processing. Personal and organizational contact information including names, email address, and phone numbers are shown to the general public for entities with accounts on the RMS including all TL 9000 registrations, certification bodies, accreditation bodies, etc.
However, QuEST Forum will not disclose any personal information unless required to do so by law, or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) satisfy a legal order or comply with legal process; (b) defend the rights of QuEST Forum or its affiliates or business partners; or (c) protect the personal safety of QuEST Forum employees, agents, affiliates, business partners, customers, or site users.
Access to Your Personal Information
If you have a Registration Management System (RMS) account, you can review and edit your personal information in the Account or Permission area after login. You will be asked to enter your ID and password before viewing your personal information. QuEST Forum member information is available behind a password.
If you need to change your membership information to the QuEST Forum, first log in to the QuEST Forum/TL 9000 portal and utilize the online system to change your contact information or company information.
